FoodDiary
I recorded all the meals I took from Friday of 17th March 2017 to the following Monday of 21st. This report will address my nutrition on Friday, Sunday, and Monday in order to include one weekend day since it has quite dynamic feeding habits. I am a 36 years pregnant woman in towards the end of the second trimester with a weight of 189 pounds. I have a body mass index of 57.6 implying that my body burns 2448.0 calories each day. I must, therefore, deliver over 2448 calories into my blood system each day in order to cater for the food broken down into energy. The minimum requirements for my body are 175g carbohydrate, 105g protein, 14.4g fats and 28g fiber. I also need the vitamins A, C, B1, B2, and B3 in the amount of 2567 IU, 85mg, 1.4mg, 1.4mg, and 18mg respectively. The other key requirement especially in the second trimester pregnancy is calcium of 1g. However, I noticed that there are huge differences in my food intake on comparing the requirements with intake. XDate |

Mydiet is not properly formed to fit the nutritional requirements ofthe body. The eating behaviors especially on Sunday were too starchy. However, the other 2 days have somewhat balanced intake. It is alsoapparent that the eating schedules changed on Sunday while regularityis observed on week days. I am also not meeting my daily standardrequirements as observed in the Recommended Dietary Allowances wherethe burnt calories must be replaced. In this respect, I will have toincrease and improve my dieting habits in order to include moreproteins. Overall, the intake of more food inclusive ofcarbohydrates, proteins and fats will also assist to reach therequired calories.
