PART I

My Personality Type isISFJ

ISFJs are warm andsensitive being quiet, they`ll be there for a friend but won`t push.ISFJs identify with others easily and approach their problems withcare and a willingness to get involved. Being practical andorganized, they use their warmth to provide help in realistic ways.They are dependable and conscientious.

SatisfyingCareers for an ISFJ

Careers that value theISFJ`s naturally focus on caring and commitment will be healthychoices. Careers that offer help such as in the health sector andteaching are popular with this personality. However, the other sideof ISFJs, their ability to be practical and organized, opens the doorto such careers as a librarian or office manager. Whatever particularcareer the ISFJ chooses, they will always focus on helping people inwarm, practical ways. They get along best with jobs that arestructured and offer the chance to work by themselves at times.

PART II

According to theAmerican Psychological Association (2017), personality describes thedistinct differences in the patterns of behavior, feelings andthinking between people. There are 16 personalities in total. Ibelong to ISFJ type of personality. It’s the abbreviation forIntroversion, Sensing, Feeling and Judging. The knowledge of ourpersonality types is essential since it speaks a lot about a person.This article wishes to elaborate how my personality relates to theconcepts of Organizational Performance.

The assessment resultsshowed that I’m ISFJ. I agree with the result since my personalcharacteristics are in agreement with the features that an ISFJpersonality possess. For instance, I do not like arguments andconflicts with other people. The ISFJ characteristics describe thesetraits. Instead of conflicts, I prefer to use my warmth to providehelp in any possible way. Secondly, I like to understand theattitudes of other people and their feelings towards differentaspects. This characteristic is described as one of the behaviorsamong people of my personality. Thirdly, people with the ISFJpersonality approach others who have problems and can help them asmuch as they can (Jain, 2014). Similarly, I’m considerate, kind,and I can help people who need me. With all these characteristics, Ican firmly agree that I belong to the ISFJ group.

  1. Role Played By Hereditary, Performance, and Situation in My Personality Type and Assessment Results

Just as seeds and theenvironment are necessary for a plant to germinate, genetics and theenvironment determines an individual’s personality (Sharma, 2015).Hence, the situation, environment, and genetic factors affect theresults obtained from the assessment. The environment consists of thecultural, religious, and social aspects. A developing child will havea personality that is affected by a different set of conditions.Besides, a child can possess a trait because someone in his/herlineage had a similar quality and not necessarily his or her parents.Therefore, the two factors strongly influence the personality of aperson. The situation also affects the character. Consequently, theassessments results are also affected since they depend on thepersonality.

  1. Effect of Personal Values on the Answering of Questions

Personal values have aneffect on our personalities and behaviors. Our values affect thedecisions we make and the ideas we believe. The values that someonehas is applied when its relevance is manifested. For example, aperson who is used to lying will always lie since that is his or hervalue. Similarly, in answering the assessment, my values influencedthe choices that I selected. For instance, when students are given atest and told that they would be paid for each correct answer theymark for themselves, some may mark only the correct answers whileothers may indicate that they have scored everything correctly yetthey did not even attempt the test. In both cases, personal values ofthe students have influenced their choices, to tell the truth, or tobe deceptive (McShane, Steen, &amp Tasa, 2015). Therefore, theresult of the personality test is affected by personal values.

  1. Effect of My Personality Type on the Perception of Others

According to Stangor(2014), the personality of an individual affects what they think ofother people. For example, if you ask different friends on what theythink of each other, each will provide a different view according topersonal experiences. Even if the three friends always walk together,listening to two of them will give differing versions of their otherfriend. Another example would be imagining that all members of agroup are professors just because someone saw many professors in thatgroup (McShane, Steen, &amp Tasa, 2015). Therefore, it can beconcluded that our personalities have an effect on what we think ofother people.

  1. Emotional Intelligence Behavior and How They Are Affected By Personality Assessment Results

I have low emotionalintelligence and low emotional stability. This capability is also acharacteristic of people with the ISFJ personality. Individuals’personalities affect their emotional intelligence. Therefore, myemotional intelligence altered the assessment results. Introvertshave little emotional intelligence and experience negative emotionssuch as depression and anxiety (McShane, Steen, &amp Tasa, 2015).The anxiety and depression are also increased by the smallinteraction with other people. As a result, there is no buffer toshield introverts from stressors. However, I do not feel moreconfident when in a difficult situation.

  1. Effect of Attitude on Assessment Results

Yes, the assessmentsresults were affected by my attitude. The position of a person at aparticular moment affects how they behave (Aggarwal, 2017). In turn,this has an impact on the personality test. An active mind looksforward to success in every task, happiness, and good health. Aperson with a healthy attitude towards tasks will perform better thanthe one with a poor attitude. Similarly, a worker who is satisfiedwith his/her work will perform well. Consequently, an employee who istreated well by the employer and has the right attitude towards workwill offer exceptional services to the customers (McShane, Steen, &ampTasa, 2015).

Therefore, thepersonality of an individual is determined by several factors. Peopleshould know their personality types. As a result, it will enable themto make conscious decisions that can resonate well with theirpersonalities. Such an arrangement includes the selection of a careerpath that is to be for a lifetime.
