Thefigure above is graph whereby velocity is on the y-axis and distanceis on the x-axis. It shows an exponential rise in velocity from zeroto 12km/s with a corresponding increase in distance covered by thegalaxies. The trend of the graph shows movement upwards. As thedistance of the galaxies increases, the speed at which they movewith, also jumps to double figures.

2.The reference galaxy has many galaxies close to it than the othergalaxies that are far away in the experiment. Many galaxies aregetting much closer to the reference galaxy with each passingdistance but at a relatively lower speed. The other galaxies aremoving away from the reference galaxy at a greater velocity.

3.If I were to use another reference galaxy, the same trend would occurmeaning expansion is higher at a distant end than it is with thenucleus. Many galaxies tend to be closer to the earth and those faraway keep on expanding and moving at a faster speed.

4.The gravitational pull on some galaxies makes them have differentvelocity in their motion across the universe. Some of them may expandfaster than others meaning they move at different speeds. Those faraway have lesser gravitational pull hence they can move at a greaterspeed than those close to the earth whereby the force has a greatermagnitude and strength.
