Some of the health issues associatedwith homelessness include severe mental illness and physicaldisabilities. The paper will discuss the stakeholders’ analysis ofthe NHCHC.

Insurancecompanies are among the greatest contributors to the NHCHC. However,many insurance companies differ on the modalities of reducinginstances of homelessness. According to insurance providers, peopleshould take policies as covers for life uncertainties. For example, amedical cover is a cheaper way of addressing the future health needsof the patients. Notably, 76% of the people that are homeless do nothave insurance cover (LeMoine, 2015). Getting this large group to beinsured is the best cost effective way to approaching the problem ofhomelessness. In addition, it is the view of the insurance providersthat the organization should take group covers for all the homelesspeople living on its premises. The advantage of the group covers isthat the policyholders pay lower premiums compared to personalcovers. NHCHC regularly reviews advice provided by other stakeholdersand looks at the best way possible to integrate the ideas into theirworking programs. The acceptance of criticism from partners shows theorganization welcomes positive change and is ready to instituteappropriate measures that may improve the integrity of theorganization.

SeniorLeader at NHCHC

The most superior head at the NHCHC is Bobby Watts who is the ChiefExecutive Officer (CEO) of the organization. His primary duty is tooversee the implementation of decisions and programs of the council.The essential programs run by the council include providing shelterto the homeless, training of staff and volunteers and supportingresearch. (LeMoine, 2015). In that position, Watts helped establishprotective measures for people without homes in New York. He holds amaster degree from Columbia University. Apparently, the educationbackground and the work experience shows Bobby is well adapted to dothe job. The previous job as finance officer gave him insights on howto use public resources in a prudential manner.

Skillsand Other Stakeholders

The necessaryskills for this job include the following. First, the individual mustbe trained in public health care. The reason being, matters at handare primarily public health issues. In addition, the person shoulddemonstrate a good understanding of the public financing and prudentuse of resources. As the CEO, the individual must engage the servicesof procurement officers, financial advisors, and legalrepresentative. The nature of the relationship between thestakeholders has to be structured engagements to ensure the smoothrunning of the organization (LeMoine, 2015). A person in this careermay influence the healthcare system by formulating policy documentsthat aim at protecting the vulnerable.

For instance,individuals who have a master’s or bachelor’s degrees are wellexposed to numerous diseases that affect the community. Newinfections are reported every year, which requires one to employcritical thinking and vast skills. Healthcare individuals whoembrace continuous education are better placed to combat new diseasesthat affect homeless people, and that may pose a threat to the entirenation. Skills in research enable one to conduct an investigationregarding a particular disease frequently and take precautionarymeasures. Leaders working in NHCHC require a capacity to change theexisting policies for the enhancement of homeless individuals. Communication competence is an indispensable skill to professionalworking at NHCHC. Behaviors are hard to change, and they require aconviction power.It needs people who are patient and capable ofunderstanding the plight of others without blemish regardless of thecondition (LeMoine, 2015). Communication skills enable thegovernment and the NHCHC share notes and evaluate progress. Aftersupport, homeless individuals can exploit their talents for thebenefit of the country.

Therefore, thekey competencies in this job are an education in the relevant field.Second, the individual must display skills in financial reporting andpublic resource management. In addition, the person should be of goodcharacter, incorruptible and trustworthy. The person must alsopossess excellent communication skills.

In conclusion,NHCHC organization is at the forefront of providing shelter to thehomeless in the United States. Homeless people can get access to bothprimary care and residence through the help of NHCHC. However, theorganization requires continued support from the government and otherwell-wishers to carry on its noble duties.
